Credentials
- Enhanced DBS check held by all assessors carrying out home visits

- Every assessment follows CoramBAAF's ‘Dogs and Pets in Fostering and Adoption’ good practice guide, and reports are aligned to the CoramBAAF Dog Assessment Form

- Client and case information handled in line with UK GDPR and data protection requirements
- Continuous professional development — PASS delivers CPD training to the sector, and holds its own practice to the same evidence-based standard it asks of others
Why PASS
PASS stands for Pet Assessors — but the name is also a small nod to what every assessment is designed to give you: a clear, straightforward answer.
Social workers, panels and IROs don't need another vague opinion about a family dog — they need to know, plainly, whether a case can proceed as it stands or whether it needs a closer look. That's the judgement PASS exists to provide: evidence-based, aligned to the CoramBAAF Dog Assessment Form, and delivered in a format built for casework and panel timelines, not general pet advice.
Every case gets exactly that — a clear read on risk, and a clear recommendation for what happens next.
